![]() It is important to pause/stop the service BEFORE hasleo backup, and to START the service again AFTER hasleo backup because it does vss backup every 15 minutes. This application uses a service to trigger the backups. For example "please remove backup drive from computer for sercurity reasons" - just an idea.Ĥ. Perhaps it would be nice to have the option to show a custom user note at end of backup if it is successful "Backup successful." AND usernote: "Please xyz". Moreover, after force closing Hasleo, the service was also still stuck and when rebooting it would prevent a reboot (had to force reboot the computer!).ģ. I think you should have a timeout to prevent this situation. For some reason the backup never ended and was stuff at 99%. I added some (amateurish) vbs/bat stuff that was supposed to show a message with nircmd after end of backup. Time: In the main windows, it says 07:45:34 instead of 19:45:34 I managed with difficulty to delete the C:\WinPETem folder by booting with Linux, but now I am afraid to run the emergency disk creation procedure again.ġ. I don't know what to do anymore and especially I don't know how to get rid of the C:\WinPETem folder which has reached 16 GB !. ![]() I tried to re-install v4.0 on itself (without uninstalling it first) without success. But the deletion is not allowed (access denied).įor info I have a second photocopy PC where the iso creation worked correctly and where no C:\WinPETem was created. I am Administrator with full control over disc C: and I tried to delete C:\WinPETem. I also noticed that each time I tried to create the emergency disk, a subfolder similar to the one described had been created in C:\WinPETem folder which has reached 16 GB. Looking at the contents of disk C: I noticed that a “WinPETem” folder had been created with a new folder inside namedĥ5ce1990-2ca1-4c0e-af66-6c455aad8d84 with subfolders:Ĭ:\WinPETem\55ce1990-2ca1-4c0e-af66-6c455aad8d84\ I tried several times with the same result. After about 1 minute, the procedure stops at 63% and there it stays forever (the background Hasleo Backup Suite Service Application process is shown as "suspended") I cannot close the application and the only way I can break the situation is to reboot the PC. I then launched the emergency disk creation procedure. Today I realized that, after upgrading to v4.0, WinPE.iso was not present in the Hasleo ‘bin’ folder. I’m a newbie and with a Windows 10 22H2 PC, I made some backups with Hasleo v4.0. ![]() The System hardware used is an 8-core/16-thread AMD CPU at 3.6ghz base frequency running 32gB of RAM.Hi. When finished it cleans up the BCD to eliminate the created entry. The System then automatically BOOTs into that WIM and executes the RESTORE asked for on the LIVE System. When using a LIVE restoration request, HBS will create a BOOTable entry (if it doesn't exist) into the System's BCD and set a 1-time BOOT into that entry (which is most likely a WIM it just built prior to creating the entry).
